A Delhi court has granted anticipatory bail to AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, who was booked for allegedly obstructing a Delhi Police team at Jamia Nagar in the national capital, ANI confirmed.
♒Khan was accused of helping a suspect, Shahwez Khan, evade arrest. The court's decision comes after Khan was granted interim protection and asked to join the investigation.
💧Amatullah Khan has been accused of obstructing police personnel from arresting Shahwez Khan, an alleged proclaimed offender.
🌼Special judge Jitendra Singh, had on February 13 granted protection from arrest to the AAP MLA from Okhla till Monday, and later extended the protection for a day.
🍒Earlier, the court had provided him interim protection from arrest in the case.
ꦿAs part of the bail conditions, Khan is required to furnish a bail bond of Rs 25,000. Additionally, the court has directed him to cooperate fully with the investigation team and refrain from tampering with any evidence related to the case.
