💮Elon Musk, head of DOGE, has issued an email ultimatum requiring federal employees to share their recent accomplishments.

In support of Musk's directive, President Trump has asked federal employees, "Are you sure you're working?" reported the Associated Press.

Musk's Ultimatum To Federal Employees Sparks Concern

ꦉDays after threatening to fire federal workers if they are unable to share their recent accomplishments, Musk intensified pressure on federal employees to demonstrate their productivity and value to the organisation.

ꦫIn a provocative move that has left federal employees on edge, Elon Musk reiterated his demand and has renewed his firing threat by sharing a post on his microblogging website X.

🌞He wrote, "Subject to the discretion of the President, they will be given another chance. Failure to respond a second time results in termination."

Trump Backs Musk's Ultimatum

President Donald Trump ꦓhas lent his support to Elon Musk's demand that federal employees provide an update on their recent work by Monday, with termination looming as a potential consequence for non-compliance.

President Trump said in the Oval Office during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, "What he's doing is saying, Are you actually working? And then, if you don't answer, like, you're sort of semi-fired or you're fired, because a lot of people aren't answering because they don't even exist, hundreds of billions of dollars in fraud," as quoted by the Associated Press.

Elon Musk's Ultimatum Email

🍷Elon Musk launched a scathing attack on federal workers, claiming they are averse to even minimal accountability.

🦩Despite earlier assurances that compliance with his demands was optional, Musk reiterated his threat of mass firings.

𝐆In a follow-up email, he warned, "Failure to respond a second time will result in termination." The email instructed employees to reply with approximately five bullet points detailing their accomplishments from the previous week, with a copy sent to their manager.

﷽Notably, the initial email failed to mention the severe consequence of termination for noncompliance.
