K-pop band BLACKPINKಌ’s Lisa is all set to perform at the 97th Academy Awards, that is scheduled on March 2. The singer-actor has made history as she becomes the first K-pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards. She will be joined by renowned global artists, including Doja Cat and RAYE.
Lisa is said to be performing her newly released song, Born Again, that also featured Doja Cat and RAYE. The song was re-released on February 7 as part of her upcoming first full-length album, ALTER EGO. It will be the song's first live performance.
On Monday, February 24, The Academy announced the news on social media, calling it “one epic #Oscars moment.”

The Oscars ceremony will also have performances from Wicked🉐 stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Also, there will be a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
𝓡The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and will be aired live by ABC. It will start at 7 pm Eastern/4 pm Pacific. Audiences can watch the event at 5.30 am on Tuesday (March 2). For the first time, the Oscars will be streamed live on Hulu. The Academy awards ceremony will be live-streamed on JioHotstar on March 3. Fans can also watch via Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV and FuboTV.
Coming back to Lisa, she is currently seen in the new season of The White Lotus, which premiered on February 16.
