Shaq's OGs, selected by Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, cruised to a 41-25 win over Charles Barkley's Chuck's Global Stars in the title game despite LeBron James sitting out the contest with ankle and foot issues that have hampered him throughout this season. James had participated in a record 20 consecutive Aꦍll-Star games since making his first appearance in 2005.
Curry went 4 of 8 from 3-point range to score 12 points in the title game to earn All-Star MVP honours for the second time in his illustrious career. Jayson꧃ Tatum recorded a game-high 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting to help Shaq's OGs lead from start to finish.
This was the first edition of the NBA's ♋revised All-Star Game format, in which the participants were placed on four separ♋ate teams each chosen by a legendary former player. The first team to score 40 points in the two semi-final matchups advanced to the championship game, where that winner was also the first to hit the 40-point mark.

Shaq's OGs reached the title game with a 42-35 win over Candace's Rising Stars, picked by former WNBA superstar Candace Parker. O'Neal's team advanced by ending the game on a 14-7 run capped by Damian Lillard's 3-pointer🎉 that put them over the 40-point mark.
