The 30-year-old Anshul is the second Ind🅷ian to earn a UFC c☂ontract after Bharat Khandare. He competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Talking about his upcoming fight, Anshul said, "I live in the moment and take one thing at a time. I have thought out my carꦑeer, but I am only focused 🃏on my upcoming fight. I don't stress too much about things that are not in my hands. I am working hard and giving it my all."
He further added, "I am very happy and proud to be representing Ind🐼ia on such a big stage, I'm happy to see all the love I have been getting on social media. It's a kind of responsibility I am lucky to have and thankful for. It's a wonderful pressure to have"
Like many other Indian athletes, Neeraj Chopra serves as a major inspiration for Anshul. He expressed, "In sports, Neeraj Chopra is someone who has inspired me a lot. I was about to give up in 2021, but when Neeraj won the gold in the Olympics, I felt that if he could excel in a sport that isn’t cricket and is💎n’t supported that much, then why can’t I do it?"
The personal motivation he draws from his father is clear as he shares, "My father is my idol. As I grow older, I realize just how wise he is. My nature is shaped by him. He al🌠ways told me to work hard and focus on the p❀resent, not to worry about the future. He’s taught me how to live in the moment."
