The countdown for the 97th Academy Awards has begun. Oscars 2025 will celebrate James Bond legacy🐠 by paying a tribute to 007 music and producers, reported Var💎iety.
The Sunday night Academy Awards will pay tribute to the iconic songs of the🌱 James Bond franchise to honour longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. The Academy is yet to comment🎃 on it.
For the unversed, Barbara and Wilson received Honorary Oscars at the 15th Governors Awards.
Details about the tribute are still under wraps, and it is unclear whether the focus will be on Oscar-winning and nominated songs or if the Academy will take a broader approach to includ𒁃e all 26 Bond theme songs.
As per V༒ariety, the sources claimed that the tribute will have an impressive lineup of talent, who will have some surprising musical to showcase.
James Bond franchise has become one of the most loved and successful franchises since the release of Dr. No in 1962. 𓆉The legacy continued with 26 film𓆏s in six decades.
Music has always remained an integral part of James Bond movies, particularly the theme songs. Some of the world's most influential artists did terrific work w𝐆ith the music and created some iconic tracks, which helped in shaping the film and the narrative.


Earlier, Bond songs didn't receive much re🙈cognition from the Academy. But it has recently started to honour Bond themes more frequently. Six songs from the Bond movies have been nominated for Oscars, with three winning the prestigious award.
