Chhattisgarh: 8 Jawans, 1 Civilian Killed In IED Blast In Bijapur

▨The naxals in Chhattisgarh's Bijapaur blew up the vehicle driven by a civilian and carrying eight jawans of District Reserve Guards (DRG) on Monday with an improvised explosive device and have killed all of them.

🀅Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) Sundarraj P informed PTI that the incident took place near Ambeli village under Kutru police station when the security personnel were returning in their Scorpio vehicle after an anti-Naxalite operation.

🌟Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor has been sent to jail after his arrest. As per the latest reports, the Bihar leader has been sent to jail after he refused to sign a bail bond.

Kishor, who was on hunger strike, was arrested at Patna's Gandhi Maidan🦄. The poll strategist is demanding the cancellation of the Bihar Public Service Commission exam.

🔴As per police officials, Kishor and around 43 of his supporters were arrested as the protest took place in a restricted area. His arrest comes after several notices from the Patna District Magistrate were ignored.

HMPV Cases In India 'Not Linked To China,' Says Health Ministry; Delhi, Karnataka Issue Advisory

♕The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has confirmed two cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) in Karnataka through routine surveillance, the Union health ministry reported on Monday. 

🥂Both cases were identified in infants with a history of bronchopneumonia. However, the ministry underlined that neither of the patients has any history of international travel. This indicates that the two cases are not linked to the outbreak in China.

ℱAnother similar case has surfaced where a two-month-old boy has been detected with HMPV after he was admitted to a private hospital in Ahmedabad on December 24.
