Actress Kate Winslet is all set to make her directorial debut with Netflix's family drama, Goodbye June, reported Variety.
𒁃Apart from directing the film, Winslet will be producing and will also star in it. The film also stars Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Toni Collette, Helen Mirren and Timothy Spall, among others.
Kate Solomon is co-producing the upcoming flick with Winslet, with Working Title as executive producer. Goodbye June has been written by Winslet’s son, Joe Anders.
Set in the present-day England, Goodbye June ꦏrevolves around a “fractured group of siblings pull together under sudden and trying circumstances,” as per the synopsis.
Reportedly, the movie will go into production in the UK later this year. Kate Winslet, who starred in movies like Titanic and The Reader, earlier produced and starred in Ellen Kuras’s Lee♊, where she played an American photographer Lee Miller.
The Oscar-winning actor will be seen in James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash.
