🐷Garnacho was sacrificed for Noussair Mazraoui on Wednesday after Patrick Dorgu was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Ipswich's Omari Hutchinson.

꧋But instead of taking his place on the bench, the Argentine headed straight down the tunnel, suggesting he was frustrated by Amorim's decision to withdraw him from the contest.

🔥Amorim has since spoken to Garnacho to get to the bottom of the situation and says the winger will fund a night out for his team-mates.

ඣ"It was funny because the next day he came to me, to my office," said the United boss.

𒈔"I did some investigations, and he went to the dressing room. He changed his clothes because he was wet.

𒁏"He watched the game in the different [place], not on the bench. At the end of the game, he was there, then he went home, so there's not an issue there.

🐽"But I told them that at Manchester United everything is important, and the perception in a big club is really important, so he's going to pay for dinner to all the team, and that's it.

💮"I think he understands. He was subbed, he was playing well and had to go off at that moment of the game.

💖"It's hard to deal with everything, but they have to deal with everything. I just try to help them be better footballers."

ꦆAmorim also defended captain Bruno Fernandes, stating his opinion on the midfielder matters more than former United skipper, Roy Keane.

🐎Keane gave a scathing review of Fernandes' leadership, tearing into his recent displays while speaking on The Overlap's Stick to Football podcast.

🦋In the Premier League this season, Fernandes has scored more goals (six) and created more chances (59) than any of his United team-mates.

🌳The former United captain said the Portugal international was a "talented player", but that "talent isn't enough" with the Red Devils languishing in 14th in the top-flight.

🦩"I have a different opinion. Bruno is really important for us in the club," Amorim said. He's special to me. He's playing well in a difficult context. He always wants the responsibility.

ꦐ"I always know, as a captain, he does things with his arms, and sometimes you see it like it's criticising the team-mates.

ꦜ"I think most of all, it's been a lot of frustration for the last few years. He wants to win, and sometimes it's really hard to deal with that frustration.

🉐"But like I said, everybody has an opinion. Roy Keane has big standards from him in his time. And it's normal to have an opinion.

🦩"I have the opposite opinion and I think it's more important than Roy Keane's because I'm the coach. And I think he's doing things quite well."
