It was a packed Salt Lake Stadium๐Ÿ’ฎ with fans coming with huge hoardings and pamphlets. And they found the reason to celebrate early in the match when Hyderabad's Stefan Sapic conceded an own goal while passing the ball to his goalkeeper in the ninth minute of the game.

Mohun Bagan๐ŸŸ took the lead as the ball trickled over the line in what felt like a slow motion. Liston passed the ball to Sahal Abdul Samad. Sahal attempted a shot and his shot went directly at Arshdeep, the HFC goalkeeper. Arshdeep's attempted save deflects off Sapic and the ball rolls into the goal.

Tom Alfred scored the second goal just moments after Abdul Rabeeh of Hyderabad FC ๐ŸŒžgot a yellow card for a foul. Alfred scored a header from very close range into the bottom right corner following a set-piece situation. The umpires first gave that an offside but it was later changed to a Goal.

เฆ“Jason Cummings scored another goal just after half-time when he sent the ball into the opponent's goalpost in the 51st minute. He did that so comfortably that it disturbed no one. It was Cummings himself who passed the ball to Jamie Mclaren who assisted in the goal. Cummings found the ball again in front of the goalkeeper and he finished the job with a classic shot.

๐Ÿฆ‚Hyderabad FC had more percentage of ball possession (55%) in comparison to the winners (45%) but they failed to convert the chances. They were given three yellow cards whereas the Mariners got only one yellow card in the game.

๐Ÿง”The hosts got five corners in the game and the visitors could only get two corners. Hyderabad had 80% passing accuracy in comparison to Mohun Bagan's 74% but they finished the game on the losing side.
