Gas Leak Fire In Mumbai's Chembur Leaves Nine Injured, Three Critical

𓄧Nine people, including four women and one minor sustained injuries in a fire resulting from a gas leak in Mumbai's Chembur area on Thursday night.

༒Three of the injured individuals are reported to have suffered severe burns exceeding 50 percent and are currently in critical condition.

🎃The incident occurred due to an LPG leak in a chawl at Siddharth Colony in Chembur East at approximately 11.45 pm on Thursday.

ꦏA fire brigade official told PTI that one fire engine, a jetty and ambulances were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused in 10-15 minutes.

🌱Among the nine people injured, ranging in age from 17 to 60.

ဣSix of them were admitted to the civic-run Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar while others were admitted to Sion Hospital, Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi, and Manek Hospital in Chembur.

🔥Providing an update on their conditions, the official noted that three of the injured individuals, with burns exceeding 50 percent, are in critical condition.

ꦗMeanwhile, five others remain stable, and a 42-year-old man with minor injuries has been discharged from Shatabdi Hospital.
