On Thursday, November 28, the makers of Vidaamuyarchi unveiled its official teaser. The Tamil film stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role and is directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It is all set to hit the screens on Pongal in January 2025. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead, while Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja and Arav play significant roles. Backed by Lyca Productions, the music of Vidaamuyarchi💃 is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and Om Prakash has done the editing.
Vidaamuyarchi🎉 was entirely shot in Azerbaijan. The one-minute-48-second teaser comes without dialogue. It introduces audiences to the characters, gives glimpses of exotic locations, and creates suspense with its gripping background score.

Apart from Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith will also be seen in Good Bad and Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
Ajith has a record of delivering blockbusters on Pongal. In 2019, his Viswasam was a huge hit, beating Rajinikanth’s Petta at the Tamil Nadu box office. In 2023, Thunivu outperformed Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu on the opening day. With Vidaamuyarchi🗹, he is expected to deliver yet another blockbuster this Pongal.
