Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal☂, witnessed a fabulous first day on Friday, February 14. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the period drama amassed around Rs 31 crore (nett) on its first day for all languages.
༺The film had an overall 42.02% Hindi occupancy on the opening day. Night shows had the highest occupancy of 68.23%, followed by evening shows at 65.48%, afternoon shows at 58.70% and morning shows at 47.84% occupancies.
Chhaava has become the biggest Valentine's Day opening ever, and also Vicky Kaushal's biggest opener ever. It has beaten Rs 8.20 crore mark of his 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike.
The period drama has also become the biggest opener of 2025 by surpassing Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, which earned Rs 15.30 crore on its opening day.
Not only this, it has also beaten 2019's Gully Boy's𒈔 opening of Rs19.40 crore which was the highest Indian film to earn on Valentine's Day.


Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava💝 is a period drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
