WPL 2025: Mumbai Indians Chase Down Royal Challengers Bengaluru's 168-Run Target In Thriller
Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Amanjot Kaur guided Mumbai Indians to a thrilling four-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in match 7 of the Women's Premier League in Bengaluru on Friday (February 21, 2025). Ellyse Perry hit a fine half-century to guide RCB to a competitive 167 for seven after being sent in to bat. But MI's Harmanpreet (50 off 38 balls), Nat Sciver-Brunt (42 off 21) and Amanjot (34 off 27) made crucial contributions to guide the team home with just one ball remaining. It came down to two needed from two balls before 16-year-old G Kamalini smashed Ekta Bisht through covers to seal the game. All seven WPL 2025 games played so far have been won by the team chasing.
