Bayern Munich Fight Back For 3-1 Win Against Stuttgart, Extend Bundesliga Lead
ꦕBayern Munich came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart at MHPArena on Friday, stretching their Bundesliga lead to 11 points. Stuttgart struck first in the 34th minute when Angelo Stiller picked up Josha Vagnoman’s pass and rifled a stunning effort past Manuel Neuer. But Bayern hit back just before halftime, with Michael Olise curling a sublime finish into the top corner after being played in by Leroy Sane. The comeback was complete after the hour mark as Leon Goretzka capitalized on a defensive lapse, stealing possession inside the box before slotting past Alexander Nubel. Kingsley Coman sealed the win late on, punishing another Stuttgart error by intercepting Vagnoman’s wayward backpass, rounding Nubel, and finishing from distance. Meanwhile, second-placed Bayer Leverkusen face Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday before their Champions League showdown with Bayern next week.
