Salah played a starring role as City claimed a statement win at the Etihad Stadium, where they 🌠had not triumphed in the top flight since November 2015.

The Egypt internat🃏ional scored in the 14th minute before teeing up Dominik Szoboszlai before half-time.

Liverpool are now 11 points clear⭕🐼 of Arsenal, who lost to West Ham on Saturday.

"It's incredible, it's a very hard place to come here. A tough team, wi💜th an incredible manager," Salah told Sky Sports.

"This🎶 is special, especially in a title race. They have won four [titles] in a ro🙈w, they're an incredible team.

"Hopefully we now just keep calm, because sometimesꦇ the pressure has got to us, play our game and try to win each game."

Salah has contributed to 41 goals i🤡n the Premier League this season (25 goals, 1൩6 assists).

He is the first player in the history of the competition to contribute to 40+ goals in two different seasons, having also done so in 2017-18 (42)🍬.

Salah, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has now both scored and assisted a goal in 49 separate🦋 league matches in his career in Europe's big-five leagues. Since Opta have this data available (from 2006-07), only Lionel Messi (102) and Cristiano Ronaldo (65) have done so more in those divisions.

Asked if he was playing the best football of his career, the 32-year-old said: "I don't know, it's an opinion – maybe people prefer othe♋r seasons.

"I prefer right now, trying to 🥂win the leaguಞe.

"We need another title for sure. We'll give it our꧂ best sh♌ot and we'll see."

Liverpool face Nꦐewcastle United at Anfield on Wednesday, wit💃h 11 games remaining for Slot's side.

"We have to keep going, i🧸t's going to be to⛄ugh at home against Newcastle, and then 11 more games to go," Szoboszlai said.

"It's not the end, we have to keep calm, keep goi🍰ng and take it game by game."
