Salah scored one and assisted the other goal for Dominik Szoboszlai as Arne Slot's leaders secured a 2-0 win over City on Sunday, moving 11 poꦡints clear at the Premier League summit.

The Egypt forward has contributed to 41 goals in the෴ Premier League this campaign (25 goals, 16 assists).

That makes him the first player in the history of th𝔉e competition to contribute to 40+ goals in two different seasons, having also done so in 2017-18 (42), and Robertson lavished praise on his team-mate.

"I can't be bothered ꦜtalking about him to be honest! No, he🅺's been unbelievable," Robertson told BBC Match of the Day.

"A set-piece routine worked, which is pleasing. Everyone had a role to play and Mo got the glory of🦩 putting it in the back of the net. Another goal and assist.

"His work rate going back the other way was ♉unbelievable today, him and Lucho [Diaz] and that was key to us keeping a clean sheet.

"He is on 𝔉a different world ri🌌ght now and playing out of his skin. We are very happy to have him, that's for sure."

Andy Cole and Alan Shearer share the record for the most goal involvements in one Premier League season, the former managing 47 in the 1993-94 campaign before Shearer matched that🅷 mark the next term.

Erling Haaland (44 in 2022-23), Thierry Henry (also 44 in 2002-03) and Luis Suarez (43 in 2013-14🐬) are the only other players to have ever managed more than Salah's exploits across this season and 2017-18.

Salah himself would go past his own record with two goal inv﷽olvements against Newcastle United on Wednesday, and Jamie ཧCarragher believes the sky is the limit for the Liverpool star with nine league games to go.

"This is going to end up being the greatest season we have ever seen fromꦯ an individual for Mo Salah, I've no doubts about that," former Liverpool cap🔯tain Carragher said on Sky Sports.

"It is not whether he finishes above those players [former great strikers] in terms of numbers but it is a question of how far. Maybe he sets the bar so high that ﷽in the future no one can ever get there again.

"We've seen him be exception𒀰al for seven or eight seasons but this year we are seeing something special. This is an all-timer season."
