Scotland produced a clinical performance to beat Pakistan by eight wickets. After restricting their higher-ranked opponents to 138/9 at The Sevens Stadium, the Kathryn Bryce-led side chased the target down in 18 overs thanks to brilliant knocks from openers Saskia Horley (48 off 42ꦗ) and Sarah Bryce (60 not out off 52).
Earlier, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana won the toss and opted to bat first but none of the batters managed to have a say𝓰 against th✅e Scottish attack. In another match, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 33 runs at the ICC Academy Ground.
Both teams will play their resp🔯ective final warm-up matches on Monday (September 30): Scotland vs Sri Lanka and ꦬPakistan vs Bangladesh. The tournament proper starts on October 3.
Pakistan are placed in Group A and kick off their campaign against Sri Lanka on October 3 ev💜ening. Scotland are in Group B and start with a face-off against Bangladesh on the afternoon of October 3.
