India's ace fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was in attendance for the Coldplay concert on Sunday, January 26. The Indian Test cricket team's vice-captain, who is currently out with a back injury, was seen having great time at the concert. (More Cricket News)

Bumrah was met with massive cheers from the crowd when Cold🎉play's lead singer Chris Martin called him out in the audience.

The British band served up an incredible tribute♚ to the fast bowler that included a few lines. The band jokingly stated that they did not enjoy him bowling especially against England.

"O Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricket. We did not enjoy watchi🐻ng you destroy England, wicket after wicket," Colღdplay sang at the concert.

The band also had Bumrah's Test jersey on the stage as a mark of respect to the pacer at his home ground in Ahmedabad. This isn't the first time Coldplay mentioned Bumrah in their concert in India. Earlier, during their concert in Mumbai, the band played a vidꦿeo of the pacer running through the English batting line-up during the 2024 series.

In the same concert, Chris Martin jokingly admitted that he had received a legal complaint from Bumrah's lawyers using 🔴his name during the event.

"I'm so sorry, but I have to read a letter from Jasprit Bumrah's 🌠lawyer. I have to do this because, otherwise, we could be sent to prison and wouldn't be able to perform in Ahmedabad," Martin had said.

Bumrah, 31, was seen smiling and waving to the crowd as Martin sang during their concert in Ahmedabad on Sunday, ꩲJanuary 26. The concert was live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar for all the Indian audiences.
