Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at the White House in Wa꧃shington, DC on the eveninꦇg of February 12, 2025.

His much-anticipated meeting with US officials will take plac☂e the following day, February 13, 2025.

While the date i𝄹s confirmed, the exact time for the meeting is yet to be announced to the public.

Modi's bilateral meeting with Trump is expected to focus on key topics such as trade, investment, technology, def🍎ense cooperation, counterterrorism, Indo-Pacific security, and people-to-people relations. The two leaders are also likely to address the situation in Bangladesh, along with other regional and global issues.

India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri during a press briefing last week said that the prime minister's visit to the US at the invitation of President ൩Trump, weeks after his inauguration, shows 🃏the "importance of India-US partnership and is also reflective of the bipartisan support that this partnership enjoys in the US."

Mumbai Police have arrested a man from Chembur who allegedly made a threat call to PM Narꦗendra Modi's aircraft ahead of his visit to the United States.

As per news agency ANI, the cal🎀l was made on Wednesday, warning that🌸 terrorists may attack the PM's aircraft.

"On 11th February, a call was received at Mumbai Police control room warning that terrorists may attack PM Modi's aircraft as he was leaving on an official visit abroad. Considering the serious nature of the information, the Police informed other agencies and began an investigation," said Mumbai Police, adding that the man wh💖o made the call has been taken into custody.

The two leaders jointl🌌y inaugurated India's new consulate in Marseille with the press of a button amid cheers from the gathered crowd.

Many of these people had come bearing national flags of💮 both India and𝐆 France, while some sported a tricolour headgear, adding colour to the occasion.

"As India expands its maritime and trade networks, collaborations with industry leaders will play a cru𝓡cial role in boosting connectivity, supply chains and economic growth. We are working towards enhancing India-France cooperation in logistics, sustainability, and global trade, reinforꦯcing our shared vision for a better maritime future", the prime minister further added.

Prime Minister Narendra Mo✅dꦗi departs for Washington DC after concluding his visit to France.

In his departure statement ahead of his visit to France and the United States, Mo𒐪di said his trip will also help develop an agenda to further elevate and deepen India's partnership with the US, including in the areas of technology, trade, defence, energy and supply chain resilience.

He later said on X, "This visit will further cement India-USA friendship and boost ties in diverse sectors. I ꦚwarmly recall working with President Trump during his first term and I am sure our talks will build on the ground covered then."

Noting that it will be their first meeting since Trump's inauguration as the U⛎S president for a second term, Modi said in the departure statement that the two leaders will work together for th🉐e mutual benefit of the people of their countries and shape a better future for the world.

He said he looks f🀅orward to meeting "my friend, President Trump".
