Union Home M🐼inister Amit Shah on Wednesday congratulated all the "exceptional individuals" who received the Padma awards from President Droupadi Mur⛄mu.
"Congratulations to the exceptional individuals who have been conferred with the Padma Awards today. PM @narendramodi Ji has recast Padma Awards i🅷nto a testament to what the human spirit with a steely resolve can achieve. May their stories of rising above challenges inspire all," Shah tweeted.
The home minister also♒ hosꦉted a dinner for the awardees later in the evening.
A total of 52 awardees were given the honour on Wednesday -- two Padma Vibhushan, five Padma Bhushan and 45 Padma Shri⛎.
The other distinguished personalities were given the awards on March ༒22.
Veteran socialist leade🔯r and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Late Mulayam Singh Yadav, and medical professional Dilip Mahalanabis, known globally for his work on Oral Rehydration Solution (O🃏RS), were among those conferred the Padma Vibhushan award by the President.
