The Border Security Force recovered a droneꦚ in Dal village of Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, news agency ANI reported. BSF’s Punjab Frontier PRO, in its search found a drone which is identified as DJI AIR 3S. “BSF carried out a search operation and recovered a drone from a farming field adjacent to the village- Dal in district Tarn Taran. The recovered drone is identified as DJI AIR 3S,” ANI reported.
Earlier on January 5, BSF with Punjab𓆏 police recovered one drone, two packs of heroin from Tarn Taran border. BSF in a press release said that the recoveries took place in two separate incidents and were based on actionable information received by the security personnel. In the first incident, security personnel recovered a drone along with a packet of suspected heroin weighing 562 grams from a farming field near the village of Dal in the Tarn Taran district, the release said.
💝In the past few months, the security forces have found drones and heroine in several districts of Punjab. In October 2024, BSF found five drones, three packets of suspected heroin and a pistol from different locations in the border area of Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts.
🍸BSF said that one Glock Pistol was recovered by vigilant BSF troops at about 10.50 am from the farming field ahead of the border security fence adjacent to village Kakkar in district Amritsar. One steel ring and two illuminating sticks were also attached to the pistol.
🐓In July and June of the same year, the forces recovered a China-made drone from Mastgarh village located in Tarn Taran district. According to BSF, most of these drones are China-made and are used to keep an eye on the border regions of Punjab and Pakistan.
