🤡As the Ukraine war enters its third year, the Kremlin has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to talk with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

🐲"Putin himself said that he would be ready to negotiate with Zelenskyy if necessary but the legal basis of agreements needs discussion considering the reality that Zelenskyy's legitimacy can be questioned," said Dmitry Peskov speaking to reporters.

🍸The Kremlin's statement comes after top US and Russian officials met with talks to work towards an end to the Ukraine war. Speaking to reporters, Peskov, who is the spokesperson for the Kremlin stated that Putin is ready to talk "if necessary."

After the inauguration of Donald Trump 🦋as the president of the United States, Trump has sidelined Europe and working to negotiate directly with Putin to end the war.

𒀰As reported by AFP, the Kremlin's remark also marks a shift in the tone between the two countries.

♏Russia has continued to justify that its actions in Ukraine are in the interest of national security. However, Zelenskyy has maintained that peace talks will only be possible if Russia ceases its aggression and withdraws from Ukraine.

This is a developing story...
