Ukraine Launches New Attack In Kursk
As per Ukrainian ♋officials, surprise attacks were launched across the region against Russian troops. In a Telegram post on Sunday, Andriy Yermak head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office said - “Kursk regi♌on, good news, Russia is getting what it deserves.”
"In the Kursk region the Russians are deeply concerned. They were aꦕttacked on multiple fronts, which came as a surprise to them,” said Andriy Kovalenko, a senior official with Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council on Telegram.
As per TASS news agency, the Russia꧒n defence ministry stღated that the attacks have been repelled.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy further added that both Russia and North Korean forces "suffered heavy losses" in t🐻he Kursk regꦍion.
US Working On More Sanctions Against Russia
As the Biden administration enters its last few weeks in office, the US go♊vernment is working towards increasing sanctions against Russia as the war in Ukraine ꦫrages on.
As per a Reuters reports, the latest sanctions ai𝐆m to hit Russia's oil revenues. Sources told the news agౠency that action against tankers using Russian crude oil would also be part of the sanctions.
Since the start of the war in 2022, the US has issued various sanctions against Russia, resulting in Moscow redirecting its oil sales to China and Ind🍰ia.
