ꦓDrivers began 2025 pre-season testing in Bahrain on Wednesday, with Hamilton setting the second-fastest time of the week during the morning session on Thursday.
🐟Speaking to reporters during the second day of testing, the 40-year-old said he is enjoying driving Ferrari's new SF-25 car and believes he has acclimatised well.
🎶"How you start is often very important," Hamilton said. "This past month couldn't have gone any differently and couldn't have gone any better.
🦋"Every day has been significant and about building a foundation. While I mentioned we had to cram a lot into a short space of time, we haven't rushed it.
꧙"Long days, but that's what we're here for. I think it will pay dividends going forward.
ﷺ"This will continuously be evolving and it's felt seamless, it has felt easy in a sense of gelling with the team. I've not had to force it and I feel at home."
🎐Hamilton is hoping to mount a challenge for a record-breaking eighth world championship this year, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen having won the last four titles in a row.
🍷While Hamilton appreciates his new team have work to do to bridge the gap to Red Bull, he believes it has been a case of so far, so good since he arrived at Maranello.
🐭"I think it's a bit early to say, but I am really enjoying the car. We are slowly bonding, I think. Yesterday was a so-so day, it was just okay," he said.
ဣ"But we got through all our run plans, we are testing a bunch of things. I'm not doing set-up changes or directing where we want the car to go, whereas today was about exploring my interactions with my engineer.
ဣ"So far, I really enjoy driving this car. These days are about exploring. At the moment, there's still room to explore more and bit by bit, I'm eking out a bit more."
