Hyderabad: Ex-Army Man Chops Up Wife's Body, Boils Parts In Pressure Cooker; Investigation Underway

The ex-Army man, later idenཧtified as 45-year-old Guru Murthy, confessed to his crime during a police investigation after his wife went missing.

In a gruesome incident, an ex-Army man in Hyderab🀅ad allegedly killed his wife and in an attempt to cover up the heinous crime, he chopped the dead body into multiple pieces, bꦍoiled them in a pressure cooker, and dumped them into a lake.

According to a report by NDTV, the man, later identified as 45-year-old Guru Murthy confessed to his crime during a police investigation after his wife went missing. Sinౠce the very beginning of the investigation, police have been suspicious of the husband. Upon questioning him, the man confessed to the crime.

The deceased woman, identified as 35-year-old Venkata Madhavi, was reported missing by the family on January 16. Quoting police inspector Nagaraju, NDTV reported, "The parents had lodged a missing complaint with us. The husband also came with them. We grew suspicious and🉐 questioned him.𒆙 He confessed to this crime."

As per media reports, the husband allegedly chopped up his wife's body in the b⛄athroom and boiled the parts in a pressure cooker. Later, he separated the bones and boiled them multiple times for three days before packing and dumping them into a lake. However, the claims are still being verified.

After a preliminary investigation, it has 🍎been revealed that Guru Murthy, is a native of Prakasam district in Telangana. The former Army personnel was employed as a security guard at Kanchanbagh.

꧋He and Madhavi lived in Jillelaguda, Hyderabad, with their two children, a boy and a girl. The two reportedly had frequent fights. It is not clear why and how the alleged murder took place.
