The new notes will erase the image Sheikh Mujibur Rahman - Sheikh Hasina's fatherꦍ and a key founding father of the country. The new notes will ꦺinstead feature images from the student protests from July this year.

“The new notes will not include image of 'Bangabandhu' Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” the paper reported, quotꦚඣing the bank.
