Arjun Kapoor
Arjun Kapoor, born on 26 June 1985, is an Indian actor in Hindi films, belonging to the renowned Surinder Kapoor family. The son of film producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie, he marked his successful acting debut with the 2012 drama 'Ishaqzaade,' earning accolades such as the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male. Educated at Arya Vidya Mandir in Mumbai until the 11th grade, Arjun faced academic challenges and eventually discontinued his studies, not completing grade 12. In his teens and early twenties, he grappled with obesity, reaching approximately 140 kg, impacting his confidence. Arjun experienced continued commercial success with films like 'Gunday' and '2 States' in 2014, garnering a nomination for the IIFA Award for Best Actor for the latter. Despite a subsequent series of box-office disappointments, the comedy-drama 'Ki & Ka' stood out as a commercial hit amidst a decline in stardom.
