England skipper Ben McKinney looked happy with the preparation ahead of the group-stage matches and wh🎐ile speaking on media day, highlighted the player's performances in the warm-up games and the series in India.
“Personally, I feel really confident going in✤to the tournament. I have played pretty well in the warm-up game and we had a good series in India. The boys are exactly the same, we have taken the confidence going into the World Cup, especially with the series in India. Really pleased with what’s been done", said Mckinney🌊.
Scotland captain Owen Gould claimed his team has a good environment and also highlighted the importanc😼e of being good on and off the field as a player.
“The main thing I focus ꦍon and have focussed on for a while is to create a really good squad environment. I prioritise that over cricketing abilities. Lots of team bonding before and during the tournament. If we are good off the pitch, it tends to have good results on it", said Gould.
