"I will tell you about the decision accordi🎃ng to the federation that would be formed," said Malik.

She added that the wrestlers' protest is not directed towards the governement but one individual, the former-WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is being prosecuted for alleged sexual harrasement from Sakshi and other 🌠wrestlers.

On Sunday, the Union Sports Ministry led by Anurag Thakur took a significant step by calling off the wrestling body's services and its office holders. The government stated that the decision was 'hurried' after the newly elected WFI president Sanjay Singh had said that the U-15 and U-20 wrestling nationalities will be scheduled end of this year. However, the announcement wꦍas in violation of the WFI's constituition, according to the ministry, and said 𒉰the potential participants weren't informed of the call.

Malik praised the government's decisio🉐n but asked for more informa🎃tion behind the reasoning.

"I have not seen anything in writing yet. I don't know whether only Sanjay Singh has been suspended or ܫthe entire body has been suspended. Our fight was not with the government. Our fight is for women wres🅠tlers, I have announced my retirement but want the upcoming wrestlers should get justice," she said.
