Rugby India Announces 12-Member Team For Asian Games

 On September 24, India will play two matches against Hong Kong and Japan𓆏.

Rugby India named a 12-member sqౠuad for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, with Sheetal♊ Sharma as captain.

After a 50-day training, the team for the September 23 to October 8 continental multi-sp♛ort event was chosen. 

Ten of the 12 players announced on Wednesday were on the Sports Ministry's list of Asian Games-bound athletes released last month, while the other two 🅺were not.

On Septembe📖r๊ 24, India will play two matches against Hong Kong and Japan. 

Pool F's fourth country is Singapore. The꧅ topꦏ two teams from each pool advance to the semi-finals.

The team: Sheetal Sharma (captain), Sweta Shahi, Sandhya Rai (vice-captain), Mama Naik, Kalyani Patil, Vaishnavi Patil, Lachmi Oraon, Dumuni Marndi, Hupi Majhi, Shikha Yadav, Tarulata Naik and Priya Bansal.
