The Indian shooter Manu Bhaker is in action at the Women's 25m Pistol shooting at the Paris Olympics, eying her third medal of the Ga൩me🍸s 2024.

And, it has been ✨an underwhelming start withꦅ just two hits in the opening series. But she hit four times in the second series to come up on 4th.

Manu Bhaker missed her third bronze medal in shooting at the Paris Olympics by 3 points. She finished fourth after the thir✤d-place shoot-off by Hungarian shooter Veronika Major.

The first quarter-final badminton match of the day taken place in between 2023 world champi🐠on and world No.1 An Se Young of Korea and two-time worlℱd champion Yamaguchi Akane from Japan is now over.

An Se Young wins the match 21-8 to progress to the semi-fin♏als.

The fi🌄rst gold medal of the eighth day꧑ of Paris Olympic Games 2024 goes to Yang of the Republic of Korea in the 25m Women's Pistol shooting with 37 points. Camille Jedrzejewski of France claims the silver. Veronika Major of Hungary gets the Bronze with 31 points, this marks her nation's first medal of the Games.

Deepika Kumari won the first set by ending with 27 points in comparison of ♐Michelle Kroppen's 24 points.

The second set ended in a draw with 27 points each. Now the score is Deepika 3 in comparison to Michelle'🀅s 1.

Deepika won the third set comfortably after hitting the first arrow for a perfect 10. She got an edge of one poin♔t.

Deepika Ku๊mari⛄ lost the fourth set by two pints after the German archer hit two perfect 10s. She has one last set remaining.

Deepika Kumari managed to ൩draw the fifth set with 27 scores from both the players. She ended up winning the match by 6-4 points.

India's Bhajan Kaur is in actiꦑon for the women's individual event in archery. She will face Indonesia's Diananda Choirunisa.

Bhajan 🌱Ka෴ur lost the first set by the margin of one point. She managed to hit two tens after an eight. But Choirunisa hit two tens and one nine to win the opening set.

Bhajan Kaur won the second set by two points. She managed to gra🧸b 27 p𝐆oints whereas Choirunisa got only 25 points.

Bhajan Kaur lost the third setཧ by a margin of two points. Choirun🧜isa scored 28 whereas Bhajan Kaur managed only 26.

The fourth set was tied with a score of 28 by both players. Bhajan Kaur survived and now the sco🐈re is Bhajan Kaur's three to Choirunisa's five.

Bhajan Kaur won the fifth set by just one point. Now the one-arrow shoot-out will decide the winner. The score after fifth set is 5-ꦯ5.

The one-arrow shoot-out was followed after a draw of 5-5 by both players. Choirunisa went first and hit a nine. Bhajan Kaur missed th😼e mark anꦿd hit eight. Her campaign ended on a tough note.

Deepika Kumari will be in action for the quarterfinal round of the women's individual event at 05:09 pm IST. Her opponent is going to be Nam Su-Hyeon of South Korea. Su-Hyeon is one ✃talent. She 𝔉is still a teenager and a member of the gold medal-winning Korean team.

Netherlands' Karolien Florijn won the gold medal and New Zealand's Emma Twigg won the 🌸silver medal. The bronze medal went to Lithuan൩ia's Viktorija Senkute.

Romania won gold in the Women’s Eight Finals, finishing in 5:54.39. Canada won the silver medal with t𝐆he timings of 5:58.84 and Great Britain settled with bronze in 5:59.51 time.

Germany's Oliver Zeidler won the first place in men's singles sculls. The second place was achieved by an Individual Neutral Athlete Yauheni Zalaty. Netherlands Simon van Dorp settled with ꦍbronze.

Morgan Bolding, Sholto Carnegie, Rory Giಌbbs, Thomas Ford, Jacob Dawson, Charles Elwes, Thomas Digby, James Rudkin, Harry Brightmore (cox) of Grꦡeat Britain won the gold medal men;s eight category. Netherlands players Ralf Rienks, Olav Molenaar, Sander de Graaf, Ruben Knab, Gert-Jan van Doorn, Jacob van de Kerkhof, Jan van der Bij and Mick Makker won silver medal. Henry Hollingsworth, Nicholas Rusher, Christian Tabash, Clark Dean, Christopher Carlson, Peter Chatain, Evan Olson and Pieter Quinton of United States won bronze medal.

Romania's Adriana Adam, Roxana Anghel, Amalia Bereș, Mada☂lina Bereș, Iuliana Buhuș, Dumitrița Juncănariu, Iuliana Popa, Simona Radiș, Victoria-Ștefania Petreanu (cox) won the gold medal. Abigail Dent, Caileigh Filmer, Kasia Gruchalla-Wesierski, Maya Meschkuleit, Sydney Payne, Jessica Sevick, Kristina Walker, Avalon Wasteneys and Kristen Kit (cox) of Canada won silver medal. Great Britain's Annie Campbell-Orde, Holly Dunford, Emily Ford, Lauren Irwin, Heidi Long, Rowan McKellar, Eve Stewart, Harriet Taylor and Henry Fieldman (cox) settled with bronze medal.

Netherlands defeated Japan 5-1 in the wo✅m🦩en's Pool A match whereas in Pool B, Great Britain lost to Argentina 0-3.

Lamont Marcell Jacobs, the reigning Olympic and European champion in the men’s 100m finishes second in heat 5 with 10.05 behind Kayinsola Ajayi 🐓from꧃ Nigeria to qualify for the semis on Sunday

France’s 4x100m medley relay team has qualified for the finals as the fastest qualifier of the heats. They finished with a top time of 3:31.36, ꦉwith China taking second place, and USA third. With already four golds, Leon Marchand will be going for a fifth. 

And that’s a wrap from the first round of the men’s 100m and 27 men have advanced to the semi-finals of 🔜the competition. Kenny Bednarek and Fred Kerley recorded the fastest time in round 1 of the men’s 100m with a time of 9.🅺97.

🤡Deepika Kumari takes the first set of the Archery quarter-finals with a score of 38-36. The Indian recorded scores of 9,10 and 9, adไding up to 38, while the Korean Nam Suhyeon scored 36.

South Korea’s Nam Suhyeon comes back straight away to take the second set and equal the score 2-2. Deepika hit a six in the second set, re⭕cording 25 while Suhyeon scored 28. However, India and Deepika fightback in the third to take a 4-2 lead.

Deepika is in her range again but a 7 in her second shot of the fourth set sees her lose to Suhyeon 29-27. Bad turns worse as the Indian loses the fifth scoring three straight 9s crashing out of the event and losing out on a medal chance.

Italy’s Marta Maggetti won the women’s windsꦡurfing gold after taking a lead with Great Britain’s Emma Wilson gamble not paying off and had to settle for bronze. Isr🌊ael’s Sharon Kanton takes silver.

Australia’s Matthew Ebden and John Peers defeat United States’ Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram in the final of the men’s doubles tennis final 6-7, 7-6, (10-8) to take gold at the 2024 Paris Olympi💝c Games.

Two-time wo✅rld champion, Tokyo 2020 gold medallist and men’s pole vault 🧸record holder Mondo Duplantis easily qualifies for the men’s final and will be big favourite to take gold.

Tom Reuveny has etched his name in the history books🌱 by winning Israel their first gold medal in men’s windsurfing at the 2024 Pari🃏s Olympic Games. Grae Morris of Australia settles for silver as Luuc van Opzeeland takes bronze.

Lim Sihyeon beats compatriot Nam Suhyeon 7-3 to win her third Olympic gold at the Paris 2024 Games after winning the mixed and women’s team events. Lisa Barbeliಌn from France settled for bronze, winning the first-ever individual women's archery medal in French Olympic history

France h♌ave brushed past Italy 4-1 in the mixed team judo semi-finals to set up a repeat of the Tokyo 2024 final against Japan. Can lightning strike twice? Or will Japan have their revenge?

Defending champion and favourite Damian Warner has failed to clear his opening height in pole vault. The shocking result drops him all the way down to 18th position. While on the other hand, Norway’s Sander Skothiem also failed to clear his opening height, placing him i๊n 19th. 

Germany win gold in Equestrian dressage, with a f🅠inal score of 235.790, just 0.121 ahead of Denmark who take silver. Grea🐽t Britain finish with a score of 232.492 and settle for bronze.

With 71 out of 75 possible hits, Maheshwari Chauhan is placed eighth while Raiza Dhillon missed two hits to finish her thi꧅rd round with 23/25. She is placed 25th with 66/65 hits. The remaining two rounds will resume tomorrow.

China's Chen Meng, the number two seed, won the gold medal in the women's singles table tennis final by defeating her compatriot Sun Yingsha, ⛦the defending champion and number one se♚ed.

United States’ Vincent Hancock hit 58 out of the 60 targets to defend his gold medal he won in Tokyo. His compatriot Lynn Price hit 57 to take silver, while Chinese Taipei’s Lee Meng Yuan settled for bronze. This also marks his fourth Olympic gol♒d.

Carlos Yulo won the second Olympic gold ever for Philippines after beating defending champion Artem Dolgopyat of Israel in the ꦚmen’s floor exercise finals at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Yulo scored 15.000, edging Dolgopyat at 14.966, while Great Britain’s Jake Jarman claimed bronze with ♈14.933

Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan won the women’s badminton double gold at the Porte de la Chapelle Arena in an all-Chinese affair beating Liu Shengshu a✅nd Tan Ning 22-20, 21-15.

China’s Zheng Qinwen, after beati♓ng Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals of the women’s singles, she now has defeated Donna Vekic 6-2, 6-3 to take gold. Iga Swiatek clinched bronze.

Abe Hifumi, after going unbeaten for five years in judo bouts, lost in the mixed team fiꦕnal between France and Japan. After five minutes of golden score, Joan-Benjamin Gaba takes down Abe for an ippon to just keep France in the race.

The Japanese judo showing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has dropped its level. In the l🌠ast edition, Japan claimed 12 medals including nine gold medals, however the story is different this time around.

So lightning does strike twice. Teddy Riner, Joan-Benjamin Gaba🍷 amd Clarisse Agbegnenou win their bouts to give Franc🐟e the victory, and they defend their Tokyo 2020 mixed team title.

European Champions Spain have beaten Colombia⭕ in a penalty shootout to reach the last four of the 2024 Paris Olympics. They will now face Brazil or France for a spot in the finals.

Nishan🐻t holds a previous victory over Marco, winning a split decision against him at the 2021 World Ch🔥ampionships.

Round two is a split decision, witဣh Verde edging out Nishant 3-2. But in overall score Nish🅘ant still got more points.

Verde traps Nishant in a corner, unleashing a flurry of uppercuts. Nishant absorbs the blows but manages to fight his way out. Sensing the urgency, both fighters now exchange heavy punches in a des൲perate attempt to gain the upper hand.

Verde seജcures a comeback victory! After losing the first round, he managed to turn the tide in the final two rounds, wi꧟nning by a decisive 4-1 points margin.

Nishant Dev lost to Mexico’s Marco Verde in the men’s 71kg quarterfinals at the✱ Paris 2024 Olympics.

Julien Alfred has etched her name in history by securing the first-ever Olympic medal for St. Lucia. The World 💫Champion, Sha'Carri Richardson, had to settle for silver with a time of 10.87 seconds, while her compatriot Melissa Jefferson claimed bronze in 10.92 seconds.

Alfred's dominance was evident as she effortlessly powered away from the field. Her remarkable feat places her joint eighth on the all-time list for the fastest women's 100m sprint⭕s🔯.
