Bumrah h🀅ad trapped Duckett in front in the 17th over with a ba🎶ll that cut back in sharply. But the umpire gave it not out and India wicket-keeper KS Bharat convinced skipper Rohit Sharma not to review the decision. Replays later showed that ball-tracking had the ball crashing into leg stump, and the decision would have been overturned to out, had it been reviewed.
Bumrah threw his hands up in anger as he saw it on the big screen. Duckett was showing aggressive intent and trying to wipe off the deficit with the now-famous 'Bazball' approach. Dislodging him then in a spin-friendly track would have beeꦓn another feather in the Indian pace spearhead's cap. But it was not to be.

Nevertheless, Bumrah came back with a vengeance in his next over, uprooting Duckett's off stump with a beauty that came in with the angle and thoroughly beat Duckett's attempted booming drive through the covers. He didn't just stop there. Bumrah returned in the 21st over and sent back English batting mainstay Joe Root for 2 with a fabulous in-dipper 🌱that hit the latter's fron🐟t leg near the knee roll. With that, Bumrah brought India right back on top after a temporary phase of the visitors calling the shots.
