The🎀 Sa🐼ints took a first-half lead through a Manuel Ugarte own goal and held on until the final 10 minutes, before an Amad Diallo hat-trick condemned them to defeat.

They remain bottom of the P﷽remier League on six points from 21 matches, 10 points short of safety.

Juric sa🧔id: "As a team, we did a really good game for 70 to 75 minutes. Everything was almost perfect - but we had to score more goals.

"But there is a moment you have to be a little bi🐈t more evil, manage the game differeꦐntly, and we didn't do that.

"We were really bad at managing th🎶e game. You cannot play 95 minutes at the same level. There is a 🧔moment when you have to manage things differently.

"I have to be honest, I expected a little bit more of everybody [the substitutes] when💛♏ they came in. They have to give us more energy, more intensity.

🌟"You have to win the throw-ins, win the fouls. We lost some balls in the middle and I didnಞ't like it. It's really a pity, it's a shame that we play like this and lose."

Juric is refusing to give up on masterminding one of the greatest escapes in Premier League history, claiming 🐠his side are playing well enough to pick up more points🐲.

They had five shots on target in the first hal🅷f of the game, the most they have managed in any opening period of a Premier League match this season, but are nowꦓ winless in 18 away games at this level.

The Saints manager said: "It has to be a positive thing for us🐟 that they can play like this against Manchester United.

"If they are competitiv🦂e here, they can be in ever💝y game. I think the guys understand we have to work even harder to get fitter and we will see in the next game."
