✨The former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich star only joined Vallecano last year, after enjoying a brilliant Copa America campaign with Colombia.

🌳James led Colombia to the final, which they lost to Argentina, and was one of the players of the tournament.

🐼He created 20 chances, six more than any other player, providing six assists, four clear of anyone else. His 2.06 expected assists also led the tournament, ahead of Lionel Messi's 1.94.

🍸However, James failed to make an impact at Vallecano, making just six LaLiga appearances, with only one of those being a start.

✀The 33-year-old has now joined Liga MX side Leon. Since he left Madrid in 2020, James has also played for Everton, Al-Rayyan, Olympiacos and Sau Paulo, though has not spent more than a season at any club.
