Having finished with a win before the winter break, Bayern were abl💜e to regain their four🍰-point lead at the top of the table with the victory at Borussia Park.
Bayern had control of the game in the first half, with some 75% possession, but struggled to convert that into goals, despite going 🥀close through Thomas Muller ꦅand Leon Goretzka.
They finally got their breakthrough in the 68th minute though. Lukas🐼 Ullrich caught Michael Olise in the box to give away the spot-kick and Kane sent Moritz Nicolas the wrong way to break the deadlock, bagging his 15th league goal of the season.
Bayern had chances to make sure of the points after that. Both Alphonso Davies and Serge Gnabry forced impressive saves out of the Gladbach 🍷keeper in the closing stages, but they could not extend their lead.
Vincent Kompany's side are in tඣop spot with 39 points after 16 games. Gladbach remain in 10th. 🤡;

Gladbach, on the other hand, did not test Manuel Neuer with any of their five attemp✅ts. Their heroic defending kept them in the game, but in the end, they did not have enough in the final third to earn a point.
