♑Dayyaan Galiem held his nerves to hit Wiaan Mulder for a six on the penultimate ball of the match to help Paarl Royals chase down the 143-run target with six wickets in hand.
❀This is Paarl's sixth consecutive win in the tournament and helps them consolidate their top spot in the league table. On the other hand, it is the eighth straight game where Durban Super Giants have not tasted a victory and their hopes of advancing to the play-offs are now over.

🔥Batting first, the Super Giants had a tough start as they lost both their openers in the first two overs. Apart from Kane Williamson's 45 and Marcus Stoinis' 55, contributions from other batters were scarce and thus the Super Giants were stopped at 143/7 in 20 overs. Bjorn Fortuin and Kwena Maphaka both bowled economical spells for the Royals while also picking up a couple of wickets each.
Prenelan Subrayen trapped Joe Root lbw on the first ball of chase to give the Super Giants a good beginning. However, the pair of Rubin Hermann and Lhuan-dre Pretorius added 91 runs for the second wicket to put the Royals in command of the chase. Hermann scored a half-century while Pretorius got a crucial 43. The duo was dismissed in quick succession but even that could not revive the Super Giants' fortunes as Dinesh Karthik 🌠hit some lusty blows to take Royals to the cusp of win before getting dismissed in the 19th over.
