West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool C🤡o💞ngress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee suffered injuries on Tuesday as her helicopter made emergency landing near Siliguri in West Bengal.
Officials said that Mamata suffered injuries on her waist and legs when the helicopter she w⛦as flying in made an emergency landing at the Sevoke air base near Siliguri due to bad weather, reported PTI.
The PTI reported that Mamata was injured when she tried to deboard the helicopter at the꧙ air base. However, she later returned to Kolkata by a flight from ಌBagdogra airport.
Officials told PTI that Mamata🙈, soon after reaching Kolkata, wa🌃s taken to the SSKM Hospital where an MRI was conducted on her.
"The injuries do not appear to be serious. We are waiting for the MRI report," a doctor told PTI, adding that several specialist doctors examined h🅷er.
🌸The decision on whether Mamata will require hospitalisation will be taken after seeing the reports, ℱthe official told PTI.
Earlier, the pil🧸ot decided to make an emergency landing after the helicopter started "shaking terribly" when it ran into bad weather on the way to Bagdogra a♔irport, according to PTI.
Mamata was returning to Kolkata after a𝔍 two-day trip to northern districts of the state to campaign for th꧋e panchayat elections scheduled on July 8.
Sources told PTI that Governor CV Ananda Bose telephoned Mamata and enquired about her health co🅘ndit📖ion.
