🌺Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off his visit to the United States on Wednesday. With this visit, Modi is among the first foreign leaders to meet with US President Donald Trump since he took oath as the 47th President of the country.
🌠PM Modi will be in the United States on February 13 and February 14, 2025. During this meeting, Modi and Trump will conduct bilateral talks focused on strengthening the existing ties between India and the US.
▨Modi's visit to the US also comes after the Trump administration deported 104 Indians who were staying the country illegally.
Modi US Visit: PM Meets DNI Tulsi Gabbard
💞With the bilateral talks and more on the agenda, the prime minister has met with Trump's director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard.
𝓡As per the statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, Modi and Gabbard discussed the strong friendship between the US and India.
♈As per Modi, Gabbard has been a "strong votary" of the ties between India-US friendship.
ꦕAs per MEA, the discussions between Modi and Gabbard also focused on "enhancing intelligence cooperation in counter-terrorism, cybersecurity and emerging threats."
What's On Agenda For Modi-Trump?
PM Modi and Donald Trump ꦦare set to hold a bilateral talk on Thursday at 4 PM EST (2:35 AM IST). This meeting will be followed by a private dinner hosted by President Trump.
As per reports, Modi is also expected to meet Elon Musk 🍌- tech mogul and a close aide to Trump. However, confirmation regarding this meet is awaited.
