Fire dousing operation underway at Odisha's Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital

A massive fire broke out at the third floor's ICU and Gynaecology department of🅘 Pandit Raghunath𓄧 Murmu Medical College & Hospital in Odisha’s Baripada, on Friday.

As per media reports, all patients undergoing treatment o🍸n the floor were immediately shifted to safer 👍places.

Fire Services ༺personnel rushed to the spot on being alerted and efforts are on to douse the flames.

The exact reason behind the break out is yet to be determined. But,an electrical sho🦂rt circuit is being suspected to be the source of the fire.

According to Dr GK Mohanty, in-charge CDMO, “A spark was detec𝓰ted When some work was going on at the OT room, Immediately our staff shifted the patients and made active the existing fire fighting systems. The work is on to douse the flames.”
