Nuh Violence: Those Behind Riot Will Pay For Damage To Property, Says Haryana CM Khattar

Those who are found responsible for the violent clashes in Nuh and its adjoining areas will not be spared, said Haryana Chief Minister M🥀anohar Lal Khattar on🍰 Wednesday amid growing communal tensions in the state. Speaking at a press conference, CM Khattar assured Rajasthan Police that his government will extend all help required to catch Monu Manesar, the prime suspect behind the violence, who is wanted by the Rajasthan Police in an earlier case.

"Rajasthan Police💟 is free to act against Bajrang Dal's Monu Manesar... We have told them that whatever help is required 🐓to look for him will be provided by us," he said. Notably, the Bajrang Dal activist has denied his role in causing the riots.

The chief minister sought four more companies of central forces as the clashes started spilling over to Delhi and said one battalion of the IRB will also be deployed in Nuh. Twenty companies of central forces are already deployed in Harya🍎na, 14 of them in Nuh, three in Palwal, two in Gurugram and one in Faridabad, CM Khattar told the media. 

As many as six people, including two home guards, have been killed, whi🌟le 116 have been arrested and 90 detained since Monday's riots.

The CM also ജannounced that the government will be providing compensation for the losses to public property but for every damage to private property, those behind the violence will paꦿy.

"We have passed an Act wherein it provides that for any loss Government issues compensation for the loss to public property but as far as private property is concerned, those who caused the loss are liable to compensate for it. So, we will pr✤ovide for loss to public property and for the private property we will say that compensation be collected from those who are lꦺiable for it," he told the media.

Earli💝er, the Haryana Police had announced a compensation of Rs 57 lakh each to the families of two home guards killed in the Nuh violence.
