Narendra Modi Meets Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Receives 'Order Of The Nile' Award

On the final day of his two-day trip to Egypt, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He was felicitate𒉰d with the 🐈'Oder of the Nile'award by El-Sisi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Sun⛄day as his two-day trip to Egypt comes to an end. Modi reportedly discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries with a focus on improving trade and investments, ener🗹gy ties and people-to-people connect.

Reports said that President El-Sisi welcomed Modi at the Presidential Palace where tﷺhe two♛ leaders were closeted for a one-on-one meeting.

According to the reports Abdel Fattah El-S🌸isi conferred Narendra Modi with the 'Order of the Nile' award which is Egypt's highest state honour. 

Thꦅe🐼 two leaders also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Cairo. 

On Sunday Narendra Modi also visited the Al-Hakim Mosque. According to the reports, this historic Al-Hakim Mosque in Cairo is 1,000-centu✨ry-old and has a special significance as it was restored with the help of India's Dawoodi Bohra community.

Modi arrived here on Saturday afternoon after a s✨uccesꦰsful visit to the US.

On Saturday, Mo🃏di met Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly-led India Unit, a group of high-level ministers constituted by El-Sisi to improve the bi🌌lateral relationship between the two countries.

Narendra Modi ♊met some of the thought leaders fro🦂m Egypt on Saturday after a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora there. He met notable people like Hassan Allam, CEO of one of the largest Egyptian companies operating in the Middle East and North African region, Tarek Heggy, a renowned author and petroleum strategist, His Eminence Prof. Shawky Ibrahim Allam, Grand Mufti of Egypt and yoga instructors from there Reem Jabak and Nada Adel. 

El-Si🍃si was the chief guest ౠat the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi this year when he and Modi decided to elevate the bilateral relationship to the level of strategic partnership.
