The gram panchayat election results showed the Mahayuti alliance, which comprises the🧔 BJP, Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar faction of NCP, was way ahead of the Maha Vikas Aghadi.
As per media reports, the ruling alliance bagged 1,350 of the ꩲ2,359 gram panchayats that went to polls on Sunday.The results were still to be updated at the time of going to press.
While the Ajit Pawar faction bagged 371 gram panchay🅷ats, the split in NCP sign🐎ificantly affected the Sharad Pawar camp as they managed to win in just 178 rural bodies.
BJP reigned supreme with victories in 743 gram panchayats, while chief minister Ekn♐ath Shinde-led Shiv Sena secured 240 panchayats.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shind𒁏e on Monday said the Maha൩yuti comprising his Shiv Sena, the BJP and the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP had achieved a stupendous victory in the gram panchayat polls thanks to the work done by his government.
Taking a dig at his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray, CM Shinde said a year was spent by the opposition taunting and criticising💯 the government.
"The Mahayuti won s🌟eats several times more than the Maha Vikas Aghadi," he said, adding the ruling allia🌄nce would win 45 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in next year's polls.
