Infosys co-founder and former CEO Senapathy Kris Gopalakrishnan, along with former Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Director Balaram and 16 others, has been booked in a case filed under the Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act on Monday, as reported by PTI.
The case was registered at the Sadashiva Nagar police station based on the directions of the 71st city civil and sessionඣ court (CCH).
Gopalakrishnan i♐s accused along with ꦛformer IISc Director Balaram and 16 other individuals.
The 16 people named in the case include Go𝄹vindan ﷽Rangarajan, Sridhar Warrier, Sandya Vishwswaraih, Hari K V S, Dasappa, Balaram P, Hemalata Mhishi, Chattopadyaya K, Pradeep D Sawkar, and Manoharan.
There was no immediate r♔eaction from the IISc faculty or from Kris Gopalakrish🍷nan.
The complainant, Durgap♐pa, who belongs to the tribal Bovi community, was a faculty member at the Centre for Sustainable Technology at the Indian Inst꧟itute of Science (IISc).
He claimed that in 2014, he was falsely implicated in a honey trap case and subsequently dismissed from service. He further alleged that he was subje🀅cted 🅘to casteist abuse and threats.

Kris Gopalakrishnan is one of the co-founders of Infosys. He served as the vice c☂hairman of the company from 2011 to 2014 and the chief executive off🦋icer and managing director of Infosys from 2007 to 2011.
The government of India awarded Gopalakrishnan the Padma Bhushan, the cou💟ntry’s third-highest civilian honour, in January 2011.
