As the outbreak of new Coronavirus spreads rapidly, stirring fear and concern, the AYUSH ministry on Wednesday issued a health  advisory and recommended that homeopathic and unani medicines could be effective in the prevention of novel🏅 coronavirus (nCoV) infections.

The advisory was issued following a meeting on Tuesday of the scientific advisory board of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) under the Ministry ℱof AYUSH to discuss ways and means for prevention of the nCoV infection through homoeopathy, the ministry said in a statement.

I♏t has recommended that homoeopathic medicine Arsenicum album 30 could be tღaken empty stomach daily for three days as a prophylactic medicine against the infection.

The advisory further suggests general hygienic measures for prevention of air-borne infections such as maintaining personal hygiene, washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds🎃, avoiding touch👍ing eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, and avoiding close contact with people who are sick.

The Experღt Group also suggested that general hygienic measures for prevention of air-borne infecꦿtions.

The ministry has advised covering face while cough꧙ing or sneezing and preferably using an N95 mask while travelling or working in public places to avoid droplet transmissions.

"If you suspect Coro𝕴na Viral infection, wear a mask and contact your nearest hospital immediately," the advisory said.

The deadly coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in China with 🍸25 new fatalities reported from central Hubei province, taking the death toll to 132 and the confirmed infection cases to nearly 6,000.

A report by the University of 𝐆Southam💎pton's WorldPop team has found India is among the 30 high-risk countries from a global spread of the virus.

The government had already appealed to people who haveไ been to China and have returned after January 1 to report to state-run hospitals if they are suffering from cougꦑh and mild fever.

According to the World Health Organisati𝓡on, the common symptoms of the novel coronaviruꦯs strain include respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
