India Is Ideal Testing Lab, Solutions That Work In India Can Work Anywhere In World: PM Modi At G20 Digital Economy Meet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that India is an ideal testing for solutions and solutions that can succeed in India can work anywhere in the worl🧔d. 

Addressing the G-20 Digital Economy Working Group Ministers Meet in Bengaluru virtually, Modi also hailed the inclusion of te🦋chnolog in Indian governance and mentioned initiatives like direct benefit transfers (DBTs), Gatishakti, CoWIN platform, etc. 

"We have leveraged technology﷽ to transform governance, to make it more efficient, inclusive, faster and transparent. Our uni☂que digital identity platform, Aadhaar, covers more than 1.3 billion of our people. We have used the power of the JAM trinity, Jan Dhan bank accounts, Aadhaar, and Mobile, to revolutionise financial inclusion in India," said Modi. 

💧India hold the presidency of G-20 currently and is holding a string of events across the country. These events wou🐬ld concluded with the G-20 Summit in Delhi later this year where heads of state and governments of the 20 most powerful countries of the world meet. 

𓄧Speaking at the Bengaluru meeting, Modi said India offers a scalable, secure and inclusive solution for global challenges.

"India is an incredibly diverse country. We have dozens of lan🐻guages and hundreds of dialects. It is home to every religion in the world and innumerable cultural practices. From ancient traditions to the latest technology, India has something for everyone," said Modi.

Modi told the delegates at the meeting that I🐈ndia is ready to share its experience with the world. He also said that India has now created an online global public di🅺gital goods depository, the India Stacks, to ensure that no one is left behind. 

Modi also called upon the participants to put in efforts to develop a roadmap to facilitate cross country comparison of digital skills and to set up a virtual ce𒐪ntre of excellence on digital skilling, reported PTI.

Cautioning the G20 representatives against the security threat challenges to digital economy as it spreads globally, Modi emphasised on building consensus on the "G20 High Level principles for a secure, trusted and resilient digital economy", report﷽ed PTI.

"We in G20 have a unique opportunity to lay a foundation of an inclusive, prosperous and secure global digital future. We can include financial inclusion and productivity through Digital Public Infrastructure,"ඣ said Modi.

Modi al♍so ment🐭ioned artificial intelligence (AI) in his address. He said India is building 'Bhashini', an AI-powered language translation platform. 

"We are building Bhashini, an A༺I-powered language translation platform. It will support digital inclu✤sion in all the diverse languages of India," said Modi.
