Ghaziabad Boy Dies Of Rabies After Hiding Dog Bite From His Parents For Over a Month

The 14-year-old boy was a resident of Charan Singh colony and was bitten by the neighbour's dog one and a half months back but he did not tell his parents about it. He was scaဣred that they woulꦑd scold him.

 A minor boy in Ghaziabad died of rabies after being bitten by a dog a month back but kept it hidden from his parents fo🧸r over a month out of fear of being scolded. A

The deceased identified as Shahva🦋z was a student of class 8 who was taken to an Ayurvedic doctor in Bulandshahr for treat꧋ment after his health deteriorated. While returning to Ghaziabad he passed away in the ambulance.

The 14-year-old boy was a resident of Charan Singh colony and was bitten b🌌y the neighbour's dog one and a half months back but he did not tell his parents about it. He was scared that they would scold ♊him.

He contracted rabies from the bite and st༺arted behaving abnormally. According to the reports, he stopped eating on September 1 and finally revealed to his fami♉ly that he was bitten by a dog. 

Reportedly the government hospitals in Delhi refused to admit Shahvaz so Shahvaz'sꦕ family took him to an Ayurved🐭ic doctor in Bulandshahr for treatment.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kotwali zone, Nimish Patil told PTI that a complaint has been lodged in the matter and action♒ will be taken against the dog owner.
