Speaking at a press conference, India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant, said that the summit is expected to see "excellent participation" from the leaders of 🍌the member countries. He further explained the upcoming virtual meeting as "r🍌are and exceptional," noting that it provides PM Modi with a second opportunity to engage with global leaders during India's tenure as G20 President.

Xi Jinping not attending, Putin to participate
However,ꦅ much like last time, China's President Xi Jinping will not be attending the summit; instead, Premier Li Qiang will represent China following an invitation from India.
The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the virtual summit. This marks a change from his absenceꦿ at the New Delhi G20 Summit in September, where he was represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
