An ex-Armyman beat his wife to death in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district following a disp𝐆ute between the two, police said on Saturday. The SHO informed that the couple's 13-year-old son was present in the house when♌ the accident happened.
The accused, identified as Vijendr Jat brutally thrashed his 42-year-old wife, Saroj Devi with a stick when🌌 she was in the kitchen, SHO Kotwali Surendra Singh was quoted saying. Devi was then rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors attending to her declared her dead. Jat is currently absconding, the police informed.
Primary investigations have revealed that the couple used to quarrel often. "Both of them u🤡sed to suspect each other's charactꦡer,” Singh said talking about the domestic violence case.
An arg𝔉ument broke out between the c🍰ouple at night, when Vijendra, in a fit of rage, hit her with a stick, he said.
