Prime Miꦗnister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin 🦄over resolution of conflict with Ukraine.
Taking to microblogging site—X, he said, “Spoke with President Putin today. ꦚDiscussed measures to further strengthen Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. Exchanged perspectives on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and my insights from the rece🎃nt visit to Ukraine. Reiterated India’s firm commitment to support an early, abiding and peaceful resolution of the conflict.”
On the other hand, Kremlin has also issued a statement stating Russian President Putin had a🦩 phone call on with Indian Prime♎ Minister Modi.
Last week, Modi visited Ukraine and discussed the situation there, among other things. On Monday, Modi also held a telephonic conversation with US President Joe Biden and his predecessor Joe Biden.
Modi sa🐻id he had deliberations with the Biden and Trump on several global and regional issues. He also said they discussed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war and the recent turmoil in Bangladesh which saw attacks on minority Hindu community in the country.

Meanwhile, PM Modi has confirmed to Russian President Putin his readiness to attend the BRICS Summit to be he𓄧ld in Kazan from October 22-24, which will be the first summit of the grouping after its expansion, PTI reported.
The report said during a telephoni♎c conversation between the two leaders, they also discussed implementatio🦹n of trade agreements reached during the Prime Minister's visit to Moscow in July, state-owned Tass news agency reported, citing the press service of the Kremlin.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with BRICS cooperation and Prime Minister Modi "coꦅnfirmed rℱeadiness to participate in the integration's summit in Kazan in October held under Russia’s chairmanship," the agency said.
Putin and Modi agreed on continuing contacts bilateral communication at vario🌸us levels.
"The issues of practical implementation of agre🦹ements i♏n the trade and economic area reached during the official visit of the Indian prime minister to Russia in July were discussed,” the report said.
Russia, which is the current chair of BRICS, will host the summit in it🌳s southweste🍷rn city of Kazan.
On January 1, Egypt, Ethio🐽pia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates joined BRICS, making it🐽 a 10-member bloc. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are founding members.
